The innovative card reader WAVE ID Plus from rf IDEAS was developed with the aim of reading all available card technologies. The reader allows 4 parallel card configurations in order to be able to use several card technologies within a company.
The reader eliminates the need for manual entries and ensures error-free identification and security throughout the work area. With the WAVE ID Plus you can use building access cards or any 125 kHz and 13.56 MHz transponder for other identification projects. The rf IDEAS WAVE ID PLUS has a flash memory for quickly configuring the output signals for the respective application needs. With its dual frequency multiple technology, the WAVE ID Plus is highly configurable and capable of handling any two technologies simultaneously.
As a registration and reading device for RFID cards and ID cards, the device emulates a keyboard that enters the card data at the cursor position of the respective application. The reader can be configured to add keystrokes and commands before or after the card data. The WAVE ID Plus can be used as a standalone device and can also be seamlessly integrated into software applications with the optional Software Developer Kit (SDK). As an integrated reader, it can be used in a variety of applications.
The reader is also available in a CCID version, which allows plug-and-play operation with standard PC/SC drivers for Windows and other operating systems and offers support for FIDO2 NFC authenticators.
The WAVE ID Plus is available as a desktop version, as a version without a housing or as a reader for attachment to different surfaces (surface mount).
The WAVE ID Plus is used, for example, in healthcare, government agencies, industry or companies.
