YMCFK Ribbons (Fluorescent Ribbon)
YMCFK ribbons are color ribbons in which the color components yellow (Y), magenta (M), cyan (C), black (K) and a film with fluorescent components (F) are strung together. The additional printing of fluorescent graphics components is a security feature and serves to protect counterfeit documents from identity documents.
The full spectrum of colors is printed on the card by means of different heat from the stacked three colors. The black (K) is intended for printing texts or barcodes.
Multi-colored graphics, logos, photos and texts can be printed on plastic cards using this printing technique.
