The RFIDeas pcProx Plus is a state-of-the-art card reader that combines non-contact and contact-based technologies in one reader: both 125 kHz proximity and 13.56 MHz contactless cards can be read by him. Manual entries are a thing of the past with this reader - it provides error-free identification and safety throughout the workplace.
With the pcProx Plus, users can also use their building access card or other 125 kHz or 13.56 MHz tags / labels for other types of identification.
The plug-n-play reader has a flash memory that allows users to quickly configure the output to suit their needs. With its dual-frequency multi-technology, the pcProx Plus is highly configurable and able to simultaneously handle two of the available technologies.
As a card and card reader or reader, it emulates a keyboard to tap the data on the card to locate the cursor in an application. The reader can be configured to add keystrokes and commands before and after the card's data. The pcProx Plus Reader can be used as a stand-alone device or seamlessly integrated with other software applications using the optional Software Developer Kit (SDK). As an integrated reader, it can work with a variety of applications.
RFIDeas 82 Series card readers integrate existing credentials (such as employee badges) into new applications that go beyond mere door access control. The unified product platform works with nearly all proximity, contactless and magnetic stripe card technologies, enabling error-free identification of billions of cards worldwide.
82 Series Readers can be integrated into your software or hardware product using the RFID Software Universal Software Developer Kit (SDK). Unlike the Enroll readers, the 82 series uses an invokable DLL, or other direct integration methods, instead of keystrokes (emulating a keyboard device).
These cost-effective readers deliver the card ID in a format that applications recognize - Smit offers almost unlimited user identification and authentication capabilities.
