A YMCKH ribbon is especially useful if you want to print alternative card materials such as polycarbonate (PC), PET-G or ABS instead of PVC cards.
The ribbon consists of the juxtaposed color panels yellow (Y), magenta (M), cyan (C), black (K) and the so-called heat-seal (H). The Heat-Seal or "Heat Seal" is a special coating that provides better adhesion of the ribbon constituents to alternative card materials. So also a pressure on uneven surfaces is possible.
