Fargo 84049 YMCKK half-panel ribbons allow you to print color on up to half the length of a standard CR80-size PVC card. If you're only printing full-color on part of your cards, Fargo 84049 half panel ribbons allow twice the normal ribbon yield than a standard YMCKK ribbon, at a lower cost per card.

YMCKK ribbons (with extra black)
The YMCKK ribbon is for full-color front printing (YMCK) and monochrome black printing on the back.
On the ribbon, the color components yellow (Y), magenta (M), cyan (C), black (K) and the backside black (K) are strung together. With the second black zone, the back of the plastic card can be personalized.
The full spectrum of colors is printed on the card by means of thermal sublimation from the stacked three colors. The black zones (K) are intended for the defined printing of texts or barcodes by means of transfer printing.
Multi-colored graphics, logos, photos and texts can be printed on the front of the plastic cards with this printing technique.
