Entrust Artista CR805 Retransfer Card Printer is the latest generation of print-on-demand solutions. You will be given the option to issue both physical ID cards and digital mobile flash passports. You have the choice between on-premises or cloud-based deployment.
The ID card printer is characterized by very high print quality with brilliant colors. Thanks to various additional options, you can flexibly adapt the Artista CR805 to your requirements.
With a resolution of 600 dpi, the card printer enables razor-sharp over-the-edge printing in photo quality using pigment ink. This makes the Artista an ideal purchase for small to medium-sized print runs that require special quality.
Thanks to the printer's advanced security functions, both ID cards and data are protected at all times. A special boot function protects the system from malware or viruses when it is started up. The Trusted Platform Module (TPM) enables the management of the printer's own TLS/SSL certificates and keys. Both the connection and the data transmitted between the software and the printer are encrypted. Customer data is encrypted and is not stored on the printer after printing.
Additional protection for the cards can be applied to the card using an additional retransfer film - or using a real laminator module, which is available as an option.
A special feature is the tactile impression module, which gives your ID cards a special security feature. The module creates an imprint on the card that is both visible and tactile. This significantly complicates manipulation and copy attempts of ID cards.
The ID printer Artista CR805 can be equipped with a WiFi module and enables printing via mobile devices (Windows, iOS and Android).
Different optional encoders enable the encoding of contact and contactless chip cards.
A multi-hopper, which is also available as an option, equips the printer with 6 feeder shafts. This allows you to load the card printer with cards of different strengths, colors or materials in parallel and automatically select the right card during a printing process.
