Who is SwiftColor?
SwiftColor is a product line of the US company Kanematsu USA Inc., which in turn is assigned to the Japanese Kanematsu Corporation.SwiftColor products are a special niche on the card printer market. Instead of the usual thermal sublimation technology, the manufacturer relies on digital inkjet technology. The result is massively faster print speeds, as well as an unbeatable resolution of 1200 dpi.
The card printers are specially designed to create XL cards. Applications include accreditation badges, concert tickets or oversized passes for special events. In addition to plastic cards, the SwiftColor card printers can also be used to print paper cards.
SwiftColor Series Overview
SCC-2000D series
The SwiftColor SCC-2000D is the smaller model of the inkjet series and prints both standard ISO cards (CR80) and XL plastic cards up to a size of 55 x 172 mm.For time-critical projects and larger amounts of cards, the printer is ideally suited.
SCC-4000D series
The SCC-4000D from SwiftColor can print up to 6000 ID cards per hour. The card printer prints plastic cards and paper cards in ISO standard or XXL format (max. 297 x 107 mm). The printing costs are less than 1 cent per card.The SCC-4000D is the ideal model for large-volume card printing projects with XL cards.
